Working together for Community Benefit

Symphony Park™ is coming to fruition thanks to a strong public-private partnership between the city of
Las Vegas Economic and Urban Development Department and Newland. As both land owner and master developer,
the city retained Newland in 2005 to act as project manager and oversee day-to-day development of the project.

City of Las Vegas (City Parkway V, Inc.) Commitment:

  • Landowner
  • Master developer
  • Responsible for infrastructure improvements
  • Donated The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health sites as catalytic projects for the development
  • Providing a capital commitment of $160 million

Newland Commitment:

  • Project Manager
  • Responsible for securing third-party development agreements
  • Oversight on design and implementation
  • Overall marketing and execution of the business plan
