Lola’s Brings Cajun Fare Downtown

Lola’s, a true Louisiana Cajun-style restaurant, is now open at the Holsum Design Center (formerly Holsum Lofts). Named for owner and proprietor, Lola Elizabeth “Beth” Pokorny, the restaurant serves authentic Cajun food with gracious southern hospitality. For Pokorny, who was born into a family of New Orleans cooks, chefs and restaurant owners and raised in Louisiana until she relocated to Las Vegas in 1991, this is the realization of a lifelong dream. The owner of Cajun Connection in Las Vegas, Pokorny has worked as a part-time personal chef and caterer for 15 years. Lola’s is located at 241 W. Charleston Ste. 101 and is open Monday-Thursday 11am-9pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-10pm. Specialties include fresh fish served daily, along with crab cakes, Lola’s Caesar salad, Mama's Cajun red beans and rice, jambalaya, PO-BOYS, and hot dogs smothered in chili and topped with French fries and crawfish when in season, there is also a charbroiled oyster bar www.lolaslasvegas.com.
