The Smith Center Gets Boost from Citi

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, now under construction, received yet another community vote of confidence at a special check presentation ceremony on October 27.  Citi CEO Vikram Pandit presented a check for $100,000 to Don Snyder, Smith Center Chairman of the Board; Myron Martin, Smith Center CEO; and Las Vegas Mayor Oscar B. Goodman for local arts education.  The donation is earmarked for The Smith Center’s Southern Nevada Wolf Trap Early Learning Through the Arts program. The internationally respected Wolf Trap program brings innovative arts-based teaching strategies and services to local early childhood educators, parents and children up to five years old through the disciplines of drama, music and movement.
