Springs Preserve presents Nevada: The Photography of Cliff Segerblom
March 15 - June 13, 2010
Nevada painter and photographer, Cliff Segerblom, long-time Boulder City resident, devoted his life to documenting Nevada. His work as a professional photographer began with his work for the Bureau of Reclamation as the official photographer of the Hoover Dam and Panama Canal.
His photography has been published in Life, Time and National Geographic magazines and displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City where it is part of the permanent collection. The Nevada exhibit at the Springs Preserve focuses solely on Segerblom’s photography, showing some of his most recognizable images, as well as work never before seen by the general public. The exhibition is organized by Mike Spiewak, Springs Preserve Curator, with assistance from the Nevada State Museum and its Director, David Millman. Open daily from 10am until 6pm. Admission is free to Springs Preserve members, or $9.95 for general admission.
